Every 18 Months

Hello, ladies and germs, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Marco, and after a loooong abscence from this blog, I have decided to return to this little ol' place that was abandoned, but not forgotten. I wanted to originally post legends in here, but after much thought, I'm going to let it loose, and give it space to be whatever it wants to be. The idea today, is to have this little space in the internet as an area for me to explore improvisational, musical story telling. What I mean by this, is that, I will try to listen to a song, any type of song, whether instrumental or modern, and attempt to write a story that comes to mind. So let's see what happens, let's see if its going to grow, if its practical, if its what I want to do. There will be no specific themes, no specific nothing. I will listen to a song that I like over the internet, and if it calls my attention strongly enough, then I will return here, to my new cybernetic home, and I will write whatever comes to my mind, whatever the song inspires me to write about. Last weekend, I felt compelled to write a story when I heard a song, and quite honestly, I enjoyed it. It reminded me that once, a long time ago, I wanted to do something like that...

Chopin's Tristesse; Etude in Op 10 No. 3

I was looking in the internet for Chopin's "Tristesse Etude in Op. 10 No. 3." I couldn't find one that I liked, so I decided to upload my version in youtube. The song is titled "Sadness." In the process of uploading, I was going to put random pictures in there, but as I heard the song, a fictional story for the song popped into my head, and I googled pictures, and kinda made a story out of it... so here it is...

Every 18 Months
A couple, found true love together. However, for strange reasons of destiny, they got into an argument, that led to a fight. They vowed to never speak to each other again, even though their love was strong and real.

God, angered at the fact that neither lover would give way to their pride, decided to punish them.

As he confronted them, he asked... "How is it possible, that having such a beautiful thing together, you both choose to be away from each other, rather than put your differences aside, and lower your pride, and enjoy the gift of love and life that I gave you?"

The couple... embarassed at the fact that God had been watching the whole time, was the catalyst, and they instantly repented. After many years of silence, they said to each other the words that they had kept from each other for years...

"I love you.."

The man, hearing those words from the woman, loved her even more. The woman, hearing those words from her man, loved him just the same.

Unfortunately, God had already made up his mind. He had to intervene in order for them to even look at each other. For this reason, he planned the perfect punishment for them both. He allowed them to live and love each other, but he cast the man's soul in the sun and the woman's in the moon. He would make it hard for them to see each other... and once they would see each other, both would forget that it ever happenned. Because it was true love, what they both had, it would endure for as long as their hearts and souls survived.

Since then, the two lovers look for each other every day and night (the sun and the moon).... but they never quite seem to catch a glimpse of each other...

When he rises, hopeful, he reachest the highest skies to look for her, calling out her name... When he hears no reply, in dissappointment, he travels down again. Just as he leaves, towards the other side of the world, she shows up, hopeful just as he was, that she will find him... She reachest the highest skies to look for him, and calls out for him, but he doesnt answer. In dissappointment, she descends again, to see if he is in the other side of the world.

They do this every day for 18 months, without giving up, to try to see each other face to face.

This music picture-video portrays the day they have both been waiting for, and without their knowledge... eternity...
